Every year, QDOBA Mexican Eats gears up for their biggest promotion – the "QDOBA For A Kiss" campaign. In 2020, I had the privilege of leading the creative direction for this exciting project.
Right from the start, I envisioned the burrito as the star of the show. It became a vibrant canvas bursting with color and ingredients, showcasing the variety and deliciousness Qdoba offers. To add a unique twist, I incorporated a retro tattoo aesthetic. This visual style perfectly aligned with Qdoba's edgy brand identity, adding a touch of nostalgia and personality.
The campaign spanned various platforms, from in-restaurant materials to a dedicated landing page. Engaging animations further brought the visuals to life, supporting email marketing and social media campaigns. The retro tattoo-inspired campaign was a resounding success. It not only highlighted Qdoba's delectable burritos but also injected a fun and memorable element into a beloved tradition. This project exemplifies the power of bold visuals and a unique creative approach in capturing brand identity and driving engagement.
